Table Tennis Hand Eye Coordination Part 1
We love table tennis, a fun sport, which needs accuracy, fitness and coordination. Besides playing table tennis in a team camp or with friends, you can add it to your hand-eye coordination training, to spice things up a little. In this mini series, we would like to show you some possibilities how you can do that
This is inspired by our buddy Tofi from
WFGA, make sure to check out his amazing content ;)
Content
This is the first part of the series, so the exercises are rather easy and not really challenging. Difficulty will improve with the parts. The exercises don't need a lot of explanation, so we let the video speak for itself. Below we have listed the content in chronological order:
- One Ball Balancing - One Racket
- Two Ball Balancing - One Racket
- Two Ball Balancing - Two Rackets
- One Ball Juggling - One Racket
- One Ball Juggling with Racket Twists - One Racket
- One Ball Juggling - Two Rackets
- One Ball Juggling with Racket Twists - Two Rackets
Note: When juggling, you can train ball tracking
ball tracking very well by following the ball with your eyes and head, especially when juggling the ball between two rackets.
Summary
Sometimes hand-eye coordination and ball tracking trainings can get boring, as you get to know the exercises. By adding these in, you can spice it up a little. Also, if you don't have the equipment already at home, you can easily buy it in supermarkets or sports stores.
