No training on the field today? Don’t worry, there are a lot of hand-eye coordination drills that you can do outside. Here is another drill to improve you hand-eye coordination. This drill is a good exercise to start a small Enjoy it!
How to do it?
You are in the initial position but your hands are on your back – folded on your backbone
Stands in front of you in a shoulder wide position
Knees slightly bent
Arms are outstreched in a shoulder wide position
Each hand has one ball
Focus both balls
The assistant will suddenly release one ball – it is up to the assistant which ball he releases
Once you recognize the falling ball, react and catch the falling ball
As soon as you caught the ball, the assistant bends the knees further down to reduce the time to react
If you did not catch the ball, the assistant does the opposite and goes a bit up to give you more time to react – this should not be your target ;-)
How to change the degree of difficulty:
Assistance can increase the distance between his arms
